WELCOME TO SRS: N Carolina
The French Broad Cycling Classic is a 3-day Omnium (stage race) directed at promoting amateur racing in the U.S.A. The FBCC is presented under the direction of Asheville Bicycle Racing Club, one of the oldest and most established race clubs in the Southeast. The 3 day Omnium provides competition across 3 specific race disciplines (time trial, road race and criterium), attracting well over 500 racers from across an 8 state radius (NC, SC, VA, TN, KY, GA, AL, FL) with scores of others from across the U.S.A.
The typical racer travels with spouse/significant others and many with families, combining the race weekend into a longer destination vacation here in the Land of the Sky. With professionals, Olympians, national champions, rising junior and women’s racers in attendance, crowds are privileged to see some of the most competitive bicycling racing in the United States.
We are excited to be a part of the Southeast Regional Series events and welcome all of the racers to the French Broad Cycling Classic event!
